Today, I’m urging you (and me, honestly) to simply stop. Knock it off. Stop TRYING SO DAMN HARD to get people or things to go your way.
Just be nice. Seriously. Just that.

- Try thinking kinder thoughts.
- Make kinder assumptions about others.
- Make up kinder stories about what things mean.
- Try saying simple, kind things to people you don’t even know.
- Same thing again for people you DO know.
- Be kinder to yourself…eat better, exercise better and sleep better.
- And kids. If you have them. Play with your kids.
- And dogs. If you have them. Pet your dogs.
